Fridays: 1:30 - 4 pm April 4, 11, 18 & 25 Cost: $40 Do you struggle coming up with claiming yourself as an artist? Do you have writer’s block? Do want to play music but never quite get to it? AND/OR are you feeling on edge from all that's going on in the world. Spark Your Creativity helps you on all of these fronts. Spark Your Creativity is different from other Create Space classes in that it doesn't focus on skill building in a specific art form. Rather it works at a foundational level to support you to: enjoy making art of any kind build your confidence as a creative person befriend your inner critic develop a creative mindset which builds a sense of personal power use art making to calm the nervous system and promote inner peace Side benefit: you'll be able to use the tools and techniques to bring heart and meaning into parties, family events, or trainings you may run. This workshop will be safe, playful, heart-centered and empowering. It's useful for practicing artists and people with no arts experience. Peggy Taylor is co-founder of Create Space. She is a writer, choral director and creativity specialist. She is founder and co-director of the Open Circle Singers Community Choir and co-founder of three arts-based youth programs: Power of Hope: Youth Empowerment through the Arts, Partners for Youth Empowerment, and Young Women Empowered. Peggy has trained several thousand social service workers in ten countries in ways to use the arts to increase confidence in their creativity and to bring cohesion, joy, and purpose into work with youth and adult groups.
